Villeroy & BochModern Bathroom Design And Installation
Our clients had A Large Tired En suite that hadn’t been renovated in 30 years, with a freestanding basin unit , wc and bath.
A realistic CAD design at the start of the project.
Our customer wanted a A modern En suite, with plenty of storage, a large walk in wetroom type shower with recess’, a concealed wc to create that modern look and a separate bath. Lighting was a specific requirement of the customers. The customer required a large fixed head and a separate hand shower to make it easy for cleaning, The room was finished off with electric under floor heating and Natural Travertine tiles.
The challenge with this room , was that with it not being updated for 30 years all the walls needed plastering and all the pipework needed upgrading.
Dave had to form all the stud work to house the concealed cistern for the WC, this also allowed us to create recess’ in the shower area, with this stud work we also created a Bulkhead over the mirrored cabinet to create more areas for down lights.
We installed a a Kaldewei level access shower tray to create a wetroom walk-in feel for the customer , this was complemented by a Kudos 10mm walk in panel. We used an Aqualisa Digital divert shower to give the customer a nice deluge shower head as well as a hand shower for cleaning.
The customer wanted to recycle a cast Iron bath from another bathroom , we refurbished this bath and added new brassware to give it a nice modern edge.
For storage in this room we used a Villeroy and Boch Legato 1000mm wall mounted Vanity unit with LED lighting.
Dave installed a Villeroy & Boch Architectura Back to wall pan and soft close seat onto a Geberit Concealed cistern, to give the WC the hidden look.
The room was finished off with LED Lights into the floor and electric underfloor heating.
What a transformation of this room , gone has the old , tired ensuite. Look at this beautiful modern ensuite , what a job by Dave , Great work!!
The customers were over joyed with the team and especially Dave for all the hard work completed.
